When I get out of the tanning bed, I always leave the salon with a rash that looks like hives but they itch. What is this and what should I do about it?

i would stop tanning there or just stop tanning in general its bad anyways.
Reply:Ask a doctor you could be allergic to the rays. Try suntan lotion before you go in.
Reply:this happened to me the lotion you use has perfume in it and it bothers your skin. mine was along my belly neck and chest. you have to buy a tanning lotion that has natural perfumes or none so it wont irattate your skin
Reply:It sounds like you're tanning too much, when you burn from a tanning bed it will itch real bad. I'd take a Little time off from it and when you go back, don't go in so long.

Reply:Here's my suggestion, airbrush tanning. Some people think that just because it's fake, it'll look "orange" but if you get the right kind of stuff, it won't. There is an As Seen On TV kit from Sally's Beauty Supply, it's about $14, and it can do head to toe twice. They have refills for $7 or so. I would really recommand it. I never fake bake, the damage to your skin is not worth it. I promise. Try it, it's only $14.
