Tattoos dilemmas?
apply a thick coating of sunscreen (40) onto the tat before having fun in the sun

That is a problem. You are proud of your tattoos and you want to show them off, but you don't want them to fade and blur in the sun . . . Wear a shirt to the beach. Tanning is bad for your tattoos and causes cancer. Don't do it. You can wear sunscreen on your tattoos, but that will just slow down the sun damage, not really prevent it.
Reply:I like to use Tattoo Goo's Color Gaurd. It made for tattoos and it has a spf of 30. It blocks both UVA and UVB. Just make sure you tattoo is at least 3 weeks old before you use it. I would even recomend it if your wearing a shirt. If you hold a shirt up to the sun and look at it light does come through the shirt so it is still getting through to your tattoo. I use it anytime I plan on spending any time in the sun with or without a shirt.

Reply:when you go tanning you should put a bandage over your tattoo so it won't fade
