Yesterday I was fighting with my brothers from playing football and now i got a bruise underneath my fingernails, will it get infected or will it just heal on its own?

It's just like any other bruise you get on your body, only under your nail. It should be fine. But if it turns like a weird black color, there's a chance your nail could come off if you hurt it bad enough. But don't worry, they grow back!

Reply:It will heal on its own, but you will have a black blob underneath your fingernail. It will stay there for weeks until that part of your nail grows past your finger and you trim it. You might want to wear nail polish.

have patience and it will go away on its own; your bodys lymphatic system will clean up all the mess =)
oh btw i dont think its infected, if if was, it wouldnt look like a bruise =)
