so on the 14th of june im getting my ears pierced at CLAIRES -yes i know about claires but its the only place for miles where i live and my mum ain't gonna drive for like 4 hours to get my ears pierced and all my mates had theres done @ claires so yer any way i have a VERY VERY VERY LOW pain torrence but i have had 3 teeth taken out for my braces any way back to the question how much does it hurt and what do they do etc and any other USE FULL stuff - non about how bad claires is or about piercing guns etc also do needles hurt less then guns or not!!


Please help btw im having them done on my lobe and there my first ear piercings also is it better 2 have them done at the same time or not??


Please tell me the truth!!

when they pierced me, it didnt hurt, then after its a lil hot but other than that it never hurted

I have had mine done both at a booth and at Claires and I can tell you to just relax. :) I am the biggest wuss ever (like, I freak out about getting blood drawn), but getting my ears pierced was not that big of a deal. I just held on to some friends' hands and it was over quickly. :)





They use a little contraption that quickly inserts the piercing into your ear. It takes just a few seconds.





Best of luck! Oh, also choose a gold piercing stud (you don't want to find out the hard way that you have an allergy to nickel).

Reply:Ear lobe piercings aren't really painful to get at all. You'll feel a slight pinch but its bearable. Also you will feel a stronger pinch getting it done with a piercing gun instead of a needle. Getting it done with a piercing gun can come with complications, your piercing can come out crocked and it will take a long time to heal. With a sterlized hollow needle its quick, accurate and not painful at all. But if Claire's is where you choose to go %26amp; get them pierced good luck to you.

Reply:it doesnt hurt at all dont fret...u wont feel a thing, they are gonna clean the lobes with alcholh pads, and juss stick the needle in. it takes about 2 seconds, serioulsy IT WONT HURT!!!!!!!
Reply:It isn't that bad. It takes about a second. The gun just pops 'em through. It will be sore afterwards, but no big issue. Take care of it and clean the area really well, so it doesn't get infected, though.
Reply:It's really not all that bad. I have two piercings in each ear, and it wouldn't bother me at all to get more. Since you're going to Claire's, they'll use a piercing gun; don't let that scare you. At it is, pretty much, is an earring attached to a spring that, when the trigger is pulled, will pierce your ear quickly and painlessly.





When you go to Claire's, you'll be able to choose from about 30 earrings which one you want them to pierce your ear with. Make sure you choose one you like, because you'll probably be wearing this earring for the next week. You wouldn't want to risk getting an infection by switching out the earrings so fast. Once they clean your ear lobe and pierce it, they will give you some tips on how to take care of it. If they don't give you a cleanser, make sure to ask them for a bottle of cleaning fluid. To prevent infection, every morning and night, take the earring out, wet a cloth with the fluid, and clean the ear of any blood, pus, or other things that may cause an infection. Then clean the earring. Make sure to put the earring back in quickly, though, so your piercing doesn't close.





When you actually get your ear pierced, it'll burn for about 2-5 minutes. It'll feel really hot because all of the blood rushes there, but don't worry, it bleeds very little if anything. The rest of the day, your ears will probably be a little sore/tender, or throb a little bit. But nothing unbearable. It really doesn't hurt that bad. Make sure not to touch your ears too much or they could get infected.





I would say do them at the same time. It barely hurts, and you should get them over with at the same time.

Reply:i have a cartilege and then 3 piercings on each lobe and they do not hurt a bit, i don't even flinch when it goes in and the guns are better (my opinion) good luck :]
