well of course they hurt!! But I would still get mine again if I needed to. Be really careful after you get one tho cause they can get stuck on stuff and get infected.

i got my belly button pierced a year ago... i did it on a whim.. and i fainted.. and it was unbeleivebly painful. and now after a whole year it has still not healed completely dispite the fact i have looked after it carefully. Because of the akward place of your stomach it is a part of your body that is constantly moving and so it does not get enough time to heal quickly. if i were you i definitley would not do it. I took it out due th efact i know hate it. and all i ahve is a horrible hole in m belly buitton.. so i have kept it in dispite the fact i really dont like it anymore. if i were you.. get your tongue pierced or your nose..
Reply:belly button and tongue/mouth piercings are the piercings that get the most infected. yes, as with all tattoo's and piercings they do hurt. question for you..think how much it would hurt if your piercing got caught on something and ripped out of your belly button, how ya think that would feel?

Reply:Everyone has different experiances with peircings. It may hurt, or it may not be all that bad. After you get it pierced it will be sore and itchy. But I suggest you only get this peircing if you're going to take care of it the right way and be attentive and careful with it. Navels are the easiest to get infected and generally take ALOT longer to heal than any other piercing. Do you feel like cleaning your belly button 3 times a day every day for up to a year? Only get it done if you're responsible enough to take care of it or it will get infected, reject, and all you'll have left is a huge scar above your belly button.

Reply:i got mine done yesterday and i was like to the guy who pierced it omg is it gonna hurt and hes like no and i was all scared and he did it it took a split seconed and didnt hurt at all it feels like getting a shot but not as bad because it doesnt sting you and after its a little stingy not bad tho if u tak two ibuprofenes its painless
