Belly button pierced ?!?

im 13 and i want my belly button pierced. i need some tips on how to convince my mom and what its like. anyone have experience with it ?! how much is it?! i need help asap! i want it done for summer time :]

i got my belly button pierced a few months ago. its around $60 -$100. it doesnt hurt AT ALL. its seriously nothing. i was SO freakd out and then when it was actually done i was like wow i was so stupid to freak out that much. Do a lot of research on what place you go to. make sure they use a new needle and everything is sanitized. they should use a marker to make two dots and ask you if you think the dots are centered. you then lay down and they pierce it. its really easy and painless

Well as a father of two daughters, they asked me if they could have it done...but they were at the time 15 and 16 respectively, After checking that the place doing the piercing was clean, and had the appropriate licenses and used sterilized equipment, I allowed them to get it done, because I felt that if they were going to get it done, then I would much rather it was done under my terms than if they had done it without ensuring the care and cleanliness of the place ...


Approach it in this manner to your parent, he or she might me more likely to approve it if they were involved in making sure the place is legitimate etc Cost was about $60 to get it done.

Reply:13 might be a little young, but if you don't do it now you'll probably do it sometime anyways and your mom will probably understand that. I had to make a deal with my dad that I wouldn't get any more piercings until I was 18 for him to let me get it done.


Just a warning, it takes 3-6 months to heal, and during that time you can't go swimming. You might want to get it done after summer because of that, I got mine done around this time last year and I had to stay halfway out of the water for most of the summer.
