Nose piercing???

i just got it done today..

didn't hurt as bad as i thought it would...

when is it o.k. to change jewels? -the jewel they put in is larger than i'd like. or maybe i got the smallest that is made, i dont really know. it is about the side of a straight pins head.

how would i blow my nose? - i mean seriously, after blowing my nose i always pinch of the excess snot.

how would i take it out? - i always thought they were held in by a magnet, i had no idea they were curved. so how would i change the jewels? or do i have to go into the parlor to get it changed?

can i clean the blood off? - he told me not to clean it today, and the paperwork he gave me said not to really even touch it.. but i still has blood around it.
Nose piercing???
Ok:

You should be able to change it after sixish months. That's what the guy who did mine told me. If you take it out too soon, it'll close up real quick, so I'd wait. They have teeny tiny noserings, so you'll probably be able to find one you like once your six months is up.

You blow your nose like you usually would. You don't feel it (trust me, i've got a cold right now, and i've been blowin my nose aaaal day)

When you DO take it out, I think the easiest (and cleanest) way is to grab a Q-tip and push on it from the inside of your nose, and take it out like that (push on the end, then twirl it out...hard to explain!)

Another thing is, if you take it out too soon, be ready for some pain. I remember when I first got my nose pierced, and it would snag (so part of it would come out) it hurt reeeaaal bad, but now I don't feel anything when I take it in and out.

%26amp;%26amp; Yes, you can clean the blood off. Again, grab a q-tip and put some saline solution (Got contacts? It's the same stuff you clean soft contacts with) on the tip and just clean around it. You should do that everyday anyways (not too much, though! Just morning %26amp; night)

Hope you get used to it %26amp; like it!
Nose piercing???
First off do not change the jewelry until after its healed which takes atleast 3 months. Once its healed you can replace it with a smaller stud. Nose screws are a little difficult to put in since everyone has there own technique, you will have to go back and ask your piercer so she/he can help you out with that. You can clean the excess blood off with a wet cotton ball or qtip, try dabbing the qtip in sea salt water and than clean the area carefully. Blowing your nose will also be difficult for the first few weeks while your nose is still healing, it will get easier after its healed. But if you have to clean your nose do it gently since this can irritate the piercing. Good Luck.
Reply:im nt sure what it exactly looks like but piercing a nose..is nthing comparing to any other piercing..i have my belley button pierced,my top lip and had my nose pierced 5 times in the same spot..and 3 out of five i did it myself..thes best ting id tell u is to not put anything on it..thats liquid..besides water..take a shower..and keep ure nose under..it will clean itself..it will open the pores and let it breathe a litle..but they give u sme sort of liquid(a litle like alcohol friction)and i dnt like that cus it dries up the iritated part..and stretches it and cracks again eventually and gets iritated..id say to use polysporin..but nt the white one..the transparent one says..for scars..and dnt use it too oftens so it could still dry a litle in between..and slowly itll be gone..as for the ring..u sould prabably wait a day or two..and add the polysporin..after that..itll comeout easier..since less infected..And its possible that it formed sme sort of "pue barrier"cus of the infection,on the inside..and its just harder to pull out..like a piece of skin stuck around the ring..Try cleaning on the inside part the "ring"..and as for the ring shape.if its a nose ring..goes in and out..so u shouldnt have a hard time..aldo if its too big..u should probably change it ..so it gets better faster also..and try gold..heals 1000 times faster..Good luck hun!Get that nose well fast ;)

p.s. please consider washing ure hands each time u clean it..and try nt touching i too often..and it doesnt take that long before u cn change it..id have to disagree with some..i did mine with lemon..ice..and a DARN hot needle..on the stove lol..so im nt dead..and did my cousins too..i dnt have any diploma..but u dnt need a diploma for that lol(mostly that pierce noses..have never even pierced theirs..so?why would they know best?)
