Acne pills?

I have some acne but by no means would it be considered "severe" and I was wondering if any of you have used an acne pill that works, and can be used for acne that is a little bit worse than "mild" also can ammoxicillin be used to treat acne?

I'm taking an acne pill and it definitley works, it got rid of the bigger blemishes but I still get smaller ones now and then. Try using a toner of 1/2 and 1/2 apple cider vinegar with water after washing your face 2-3 times a day, it really helps (but it does stink a bit)





oh i use erythromycin





whatever you do, be wary of accutane, it is the most severe pill and is often used only as a last resort, it can cause some really bad side effects

i have no idea what ammoxicillin is but i know that acutane is a very great acne pill. but you have to check with your doctor before taking it because it could damage your liver if your liver isnt strong enough. be safe and good luck
Reply:um, well the Pill sometimes helps ie the contraceptive but i won't recommend it. maybe try zinc tablets? i used zinc tablets when i used to get intermittent breakouts, mild like you said. zinc tablets help :D

Reply:Ammoxicillin is for infections only and I've heard that there are pills that work but have recently been found to cause serious health problems. I suggest Proactive it's supposed to work really well.
Reply:Acne is not caused by the same bacteria in all people, you should go to a dermatologist and be tested, to see what it is that is causing the acne, it might be anything from a hormonal imbalance to a outer skin infection. Also, the dermatologist will test you to ensure that the drugs prescribed will not be ones you are allergic to.


Do not take a drug such as amoxocillin or accutane without a prescription, you might react very badly to them if you are in any way allergic....do not use drugs prescribed for someone else....just because they might be free....because if you happen to have a reaction to them you could DIE...
