*Ok so i was thinking of geting a pierce on the right side of my lip


i asked my dad and he said sure whatever


then i asked my mom right after and she said i cant get one because when im older and i dont want in anymore you can always see the whole where the piercing was


but i dont really believe her


so does it really show the hole?

Um..yeah. I have spider bites, which is two lip rings on one side and every time I take them out you can see them.

If you ever get sick of it, and take the jewelry out it will close.


Unless you stretch it to a large gauge..


However, it may leave a scar - my 2 off-center lip piercings did.

also, look what they do to ur mouth, theres so many risks besides teh VERY high risk of infection like any other oral piercing, the most common and simple ones are gum recession, tooth chipping/wearing, and jaw erosion. (with jaw erosion you can loose teeth! also with bad gum recession)

so you can decide according to that i guess, i do love how they look, but just think of youe health before looks and i would recommend to research the other risks as well.





also im not sure if you care or not, but just know that you cant get jobs as well with them, some jobs dont allow them, and if you decide to take it out there will be a scar there.
Reply:Well - if you take it out, it will just grow over and probably leave a very tiny scar. That's what happened with mine, and you can't even see the scar unless your about a centimetre away from my face.
Reply:The hole closes up and heals, it doesn't stay there forever.


With most people, the mark where the hole used to be isn't really noticeable.


A small mark is left but you wouldn't be able to see it unless you looked really closely.


So you wouldn't be able to tell you used to have a piercing there.
