Reply:Well i'm not giving you my views, but i'm giving you some really helpful advice.


Surface piercings, especially hip surface piercings, reject pretty much everytime you get them pierced.


There's just so much movement in that area and you'd be lucky to keep your piercing in for 2 weeks without it rejecting.


If it rejects, you could be left with some nasty scars.


Dermal anchors are better than just straight barbells but they still reject a lot.





I recommend getting two microdermals put in each side.


It looks the same as a hip piercing but the jewelry is different and the rejection rate is only 2% so you're pretty much guaranteed to be able to keep the piercing in as long as you want.


It costs more than a normal surface piercing but it's definitely worth it.


Each microdermal costs around $90-$100 here but I dont know how much that would be in England.


But seriously, go with the microdermals.


You'll be much more glad in the long run.
Reply:There are school sporting tournaments in the NE England area this time of year, so I think the cheapest way to get your hip pierced is to run on to a field during a javelin competition and thrust your hips out in the desired direction.

Reply:hip piercings scar really bad so i really wouldn't get it done and i also wouldn't get it done unless your hip bones stick out really bad otherwise it looks so stupid.

Reply:surface piercings tend to be more expensive than normal ones, because it's a more complicated procedure. i would say more than 拢40 to be honest, i live in london and would expect to pay quite a bit. Maybe 拢50 + but it all depends where you go and who does it.





go and ask in a shop near you if you want to make sure? just make sure that wherever you go the piercer knows how to do surface piercings properly with the right kind of jewelry etc. even with the right type there's such a high risk of rejection. go look on www.bmezine.com, it's really helpful.

it'll scar, last a month tops, catch on just about everything and to top it off it's plain out weird.
