I need help with my armpits. 1-2 weeks ago, it started to just chafe.
If I apply deodorant on, in 2 days it will start to sting and turn red. I just apply lotion on it to calm it down...this takes a LOT longer to heal than you think.
I desperately need to know why this is happening. How I can prevent it (I need to use deodorant though) and if it happens, what should I do?
Armpit crisis?
maybe you are allergic to that deodorant or lotion, try a different brand.
Armpit crisis?
This happens to my boyfriend. I bought him the deodorant crystal, but it only worked for a few hours, and wasn't strong enough of protection for him, it might be for you because you are a woman - http://www.thecrystal.com/index.cfm
Try a natural deodorant like Kiss My Face Liquid Rock Roll-On Deodorant Fragrance Free, or Kiss My Face Scented Active Enzyme Stick Deodorant.
if it happens you should get an anti itch hydrocortisone cream and apply it to your underarms as directed on the packaging.
IF its just wet underarms you're embarrassed about try a product like :http://www.hollywoodfashiontape.com/prod...
What brand are you using? is it a deodorant or an antiperspirant?
Are you also shaving your underarms? This could be causing the rash aswell. Try changing to a natural shave gel, don't share your razor with your partner/family and use fresh razor weekly.
Reply:Use a different deodorant. It could be an allergic reaction. Or it is from shaving. Make sure you use sharp razors and it is best to use a new razor every week to 2 weeks depending on how much and how often you shave. Also use alot of shaving cream or something to have a barriar between your skin and the blades. Most likely it is one or both of those. If not maybe it is the shirts you wear. Go to the doctor if it doesnt get better and maybe they would know. good luck:-D
