What the hell is this white stuff coming out of my nose?

I was feeling my nose and it felt sort of fuzzy. then i look in the mirror and i see white flaky stuff on my nose? then i squeeze my nose and it begins to come out? I try to scratch my nose but it still remains on my nose. what is this? and how do i get rid of it?

Um... the flakes sound like dry skin. But if you squeeze %26amp; stuff comes out; zits or black heads. Wash your face.

Reply:well its most probably blackheads, i recommend steaming your face twice a week, also using facial masks too remove impurities and if your a girl make sure too wash any make up off before going too sleep,





for best results i suggest using a quality skin product, i have quite oily skin myself which is the cause of spots and blackheads and i use tea tree oil facial wash from the body shop and its really good, although the tea tree oil foaming facial wash is best for blackheads, if you don't have a body shop store near you, go into superdrug or any store that sells skin products and look for neautrogena visibly clear blackhead cushions, these will exfoliate the skin which will prevent spots and blackheads from forming aswell as getting rid of them

Reply:I also had this. Its sebum basically white heads. The pores on your nose are clogged and need to be cleaned out. Scrub some St Ives blemishes %26amp; blackheads facial scrub on your face and on your nose for at least one minute with warm water. This is an exfoliator so only use it no more than 2 times a week. You will see a difference immediately. After that try applying water-based, non-greasy facial lotion, I use Olay Active Hydrating facial creme which also works great, but since your a guy I'm not sure of any brand name facial creams for men. Reply:Sounds like you might have got dry skin on your nose, maybe got it slightly sun or wind burned this summer??? As to the stuff that comes out of the pores when you squeeze the skin, its oil built up in the pores, from you not washing your face enough...however the flaky stuff is just dried skin, use a ex foliating soap ( soap which contains little rough things in it) to scrub your face and nose, and it will rub off the excess dry skin. After that moisturize your skin with a good lotion for men....Just go to the mens counter at stores in the US such as Macys, Nordstroms, Gottchalks, JC Penneys or Sears... and ask the sales person there for a moisturizing lotion for men.and an exfoliating soap......
